Cyril Arnaud – About

Founder of the website Philosophers.world, I am the author of works devoted to the philosophy of values, approached both from a theoretical perspective and through a freer form of writing, at the boundary between philosophy and poetry.
My journey began with studies in philosophy at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier. It was there that a lasting interest in the question of values first took shape, becoming the central focus of my work.
Axiology 4.0
From this research came an initial work, which I developed over the years through several successive versions. I present a completed form of it under the title Axiology 4.0, published online in 2010.
This work forms the theoretical foundation of my research: it seeks to examine the basis of values, their structure, and the conditions under which they may be understood.
Philosophers.world
A few years later, I founded the website Philosophers.world, with the aim of making major philosophical works more accessible.
The project consists in supporting the reading of texts by clarifying the concepts, issues and difficulties specific to each author. It is intended for anyone who wishes to engage seriously with philosophy without sacrificing its rigour.
A vast undertaking—one that would require several lifetimes!
Other Works
Pirate Fragments
Poetic philosophy
Pirate Fragments offers an aphoristic form of writing in which philosophy becomes more concise, more direct, and more enigmatic—a language poised at the crossroads of thought and poetry.

Axio
Philosophy of values
Axio is a rewriting of Axiology 4.0 in poetic form. Written more than ten years after the first version, it does not merely reprise the theses of the original text but transforms them.
